The Punachicks Kitchen menu is always changing depending on what is in season and locally available that week. Generally, there will always be a taco option, a sandwich option, a plate option and a salad option. We strive to use as many local ingredients as possible, including organic, pasture raised chicken from our farm, grass-fed local beef from Hamakua Meat Processors and fresh fish purchased directly from local fishermen. We source eggs from our own farm and many fruits and veggies from our greenhouse and orchard. We are working on establishing other relationships with small local suppliers in our nearby community to create as much of a circular economy as possible and cut out the middle man to keep prices affordable while keeping the quality high. 

 

This menu will be updated on Tuesdays (for Wednesday menu) 

and Saturdays (for Sunday menu)

All meats served are locally sourced and

all chicken is organic pasture raised from our farm.

 

Pollo Al Pastor Taco Plate - $23

Our succulent organic pasture raised chicken marinated and grilled on a spit with pineapple, served on our house made ulu tortillas with cabbage, diced onion, cilantro and salsa verde. Served with Mexican rice and beans.

 

Grass-fed Burger w/ Goat Cheese - $16

A flame grilled grass-fed burger patty on locally made sourdough topped with carmelized onions, Puna Goat Cheese chevre, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

 

Hungarian Paprikash - Chicken & Dumplings - $14

A traditional Hungarian comfort foot made with succulent chicken,

mushrooms, cabbage and fresh cream in a rich flavorful paprika sauce. Served with handmade dumplings.

 

Large House Salad - $10

A generous portion of local greens and veggies with house vinaigrette.

Add chicken breast - $8, Add boiled egg - $2,

Add chevre or feta (½ oz) - $2.50, Add roasted mac-nuts (½ oz) - $2.50

Add avocado $2

 

House-made chicken liver pate on Toast - $6

garnished with fresh herbs on a slice of locally made sourdough.
