Production Schedule
Our farm specializes in pastured poultry that are raised in portable housing on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are passionate about providing the community with a wholesome, local, fresh alternative to factory farmed supermarket chicken and eggs.

Take Hwy 11 past Keaau until you reach the stoplight at the 711 in Kurtistown.

Turn Right on Huina Rd. until you pass two sharp S curves then 2 speed bumps and take the next Left on N. Ala Rd.

We are the 4th driveway on the Right (don't count the large wooden gate right on the road at the top). It's a little hidden between a large African Tulip tree and a patch of bamboo.

Turn Left (mauka) off Hwy 11 onto N. Ála Rd. (across from Ála Lp) and our driveway is approximately 1 mile up on the left side just past our neighbors driveway that has a large hollow tile wall and metal gate

Punachicks Farm, LLC produces farm fresh organic-fed broiler chickens and pasture raised eggs for the Big Island community. All of our chickens are raised in pens that are moved frequently giving them constant access to fresh grass, bugs, clean air and sunshine. We use only certified organic GMO-free feed for our meat chickens. Our laying hens get locally available feed stocks like cull papaya, bananas, macnuts and whey in addition to conventional feed and whatever they forage for on the pasture.
Our fresh chicken pick up is open from 2:00-5:00pm Sunday afternoons at our farm in Kurtistown (17462 N ÁLA Rd Kurtistown, HI 96760). We process the chickens Sunday morning and you pick up the same day in the afternoon. There will also be fresh eggs available on a first come first served basis. Other farmers have also been bringing their products for to sell at our farm stand so we are becoming a great one stop shop for your local food needs. Come visit our Sunday farm stand to connect to where your food comes from and the people that produce it.

Waimea Pick-up Site
We are no longer offering Waimea pick ups due to time limitations. Please stay tuned and sign up for our mailing list as we may offer a monthly chicken subscription in the near future to reach more customers and offer a convenient purchasing option for those not able to make the drive to our farm.
